Thanks for the great tutorial. but it has a few flaws. Why would you use two different mxmls here? firstCounter.mxml and SecondCounter.mxml? they both perform the same logic. Is thre a way for the mate to handle the responses to different instances of the same component? 

I thought injectors works on the instances of the object not on the class name.</description>
